# Changelog

> Product and API updates for Matrices.

This page is the developer-facing log of changes to the Matrices platform and
runtime APIs: new endpoints, changed request shapes, new built-in tool
namespaces, authentication behavior, permission and credential
changes, and migration notes.

Treat the [API Reference](/api-reference/overview) as the source of truth for
exact routes and schemas. The concept guides explain the mental model; this page
records what changed and why it matters to anyone building on the API. Keep
internal implementation detail out unless it changes what a customer should do.
